Welcome back to the 11th episode of the CEO Journey podcast. It was an absolute honor to be joined by serial entrepreneur and angel investor Roei Samuel.
Roei is currently known as the Founder and CEO of Connectd, a leading community network connecting entrepreneurs with investors and NEDs. The young entrepreneur started his first business at 22 years old RealSport, a fan-orientated content creation platform, and built this up to a point of 4.5 million users. He sold this a few years later for a multi-million-pound exit to Gfinity PLC.
Now aged 30, Roei has invested in 15 startups and is currently running Connectd.
It was great to go back to Roei’s earlier life and how he really struggled with severe ADHD throughout school. We delve into how Roei was able to channel this into something special and really turned his life around. Progressing from his first business pursuit, it was also great to understand Roei’s experience in angel investing and how entrepreneurs can position themselves to attain funding successfully at the start of their entrepreneurial journey. Furthermore, Roei talks about his strategy for Connectd and his visions for the company in the future!
